WINDOWS XP MODE/VIRTUAL PC
Creating a virtual PC is only applicable in Win7 professional, enterprise and ultimate. It Allows you to run multiple windows environment in your PC; windows XP from your windows 7 desktop.
Note: Almost all programs compatible in Vista and XP runs well with Windows 7, otherwise has the ff issues:

A. COMPATIBILITY ISSUE
Control Panel {small icons}
troubleshooting
programs >run programs made for previous version of windows
OR, in Search Bar from Start Button, Type in "compatibility"
B. CPU IS NOT CAPABLE OF HARDWARE-ASSISTED VIRTUALIZATION
Error Message-"There is no hardware-assisted virtualization support in the system"
Download & Run the Hardware-Assisted Virtualization Detection Tools
If you receive the message “This computer does not have hardware-assisted virtualization,” your computer does not meet the hardware requirement for Windows Virtual PC,
but you can still use Windows 7 XP Mode by running this hotfix.
Be aware that XP Mode will run much better if hardware-assisted virtualization can be enabled.
download and install Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP Mode.
